Covington Represents Leeds Equity Partners in Sale of datacenterHawk to S and P Global

NEW YORK—Covington advised Leeds Equity Partners in its entry into a definitive agreement to sell datacenterHawk, a market intelligence platform for the global data center and network infrastructure industries, to S&P Global, in a carve-out from Leeds Equity’s existing portfolio company, Simplify Compliance.

Leeds Equity is a New York-based private equity firm dedicated exclusively to partnering with management teams in the education, training, and information services industries.

The Covington team included Allison Schiffman, Kirkie Maswoswe, Chul Hun Lee, Ethan White, Abdulai Turay, and Amani Ahmed (mergers & acquisitions), Brian Harris and Gabrielle Braxton (tax), Marie Lavalleye, Stephen Mossey, and Nira Pandya (intellectual property), Jenna Wallace, Victoria Ha, and Molly Ramsden (executive compensation and benefits), Elizabeth Canter, Nicholas Shepherd, Bolatito Adetula (privacy) and James O’Connell, Ross Demain, Johan Ysewyn, Stacy Kobrick, and Majken Lagerbielke (antitrust).
