WASHINGTON—Covington’s International Arbitration group has become an ArbitralWomen Corporate Member, with 20 partners, counsel, and associates across offices participating in ArbitralWomen as members. The firm’s ArbitralWomen members will join members from more than 40 countries and will participate in networking, skills building, and promotion of women in the dispute resolution field.
"Covington is allied with ArbitralWomen's core values of diversity in international arbitration and the promotion of women in dispute resolution,” said Marney Cheek, co-chair of Covington’s international disputes practice. “I am looking forward to the many ways in which our team of dynamic arbitration practitioners can contribute to and benefit from ArbitralWomen's programming and mentorship.”
“We are thrilled at ArbitralWomen to have Covington join as a corporate member,” commented ArbitralWomen President Dana MacGrath. “It is inspiring to see as many as 20 women in the Covington international arbitration group involved as members of ArbitralWomen and dedicated to promoting diversity. We are grateful to the important contributions by Cherine Foty on the ArbitralWomen Board of Directors.”
