Covington Represents Quantum Leap in Investment from Carlyle

WASHINGTON—Covington advised Quantum Leap Partners, LLC in the completion of an investment from funds managed by global investment firm Carlyle. As part of the transaction, existing Quantum Leap investors, including its founder and Razor’s Edge (a Virginia based private equity firm with expertise in the national security sector), reinvested alongside Carlyle or rolled over their existing equity interests in Quantum Leap into the resulting holding entity.

Quantum Leap is a provider of cybersecurity and intelligence solutions for U.S. government customers, helping to solve some of the most complex national security challenges. As a trusted government partner, Quantum Leap leverages technical, operational, and analytical expertise to offer differentiated intelligence and advanced technology solutions that address customer requirements across the space, cyber, electromagnetic spectrum, and maritime domains.

Covington represented Quantum Leap in the investment transaction with a team led by corporate partners Paul Rogers, Stephen Infante, and Brian Yang.
