Covington Advises CD&R on Presidio Acquisition

WASHINGTON—Covington is advising global private investment firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) on its definitive agreement with investment firm BC Partners under which CD&R affiliated funds will acquire a majority ownership position in Presidio. Presidio was previously acquired by BC Partners in 2019 for $2.1 billion in a take private transaction.

Presidio is a technology services and solutions provider supporting more than 6,600 customers. It offers customers a full suite of solutions from data and analytics, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions and infrastructure to keep pace with evolving digital transformation, rising security needs, and new workplace demands.

Nooree Lee and Scott Freling lead the Covington team advising CD&R on government contracts and other regulatory matters. The team also includes Ryan Burnette, Paul Rowley, Mary Ann Toman-Miller (government contracts), Heather Finstuen, Jonathan Wakely, Ingrid Price, Lawrence Barker (national security), Joshua Williams, Heather Sellew (trade controls), Zachary Parks, and Kimberly Railey (political law).
