WASHINGTON—Covington partner Benjamin Razi has been named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. Ben is the tenth Covington lawyer among the current fellows, joining Lanny Breuer, Kevin Collins, Robert Haslam, Phyllis Jones, Carolyn Kubota, John Nields, George Pappas, C. William Phillips, and Paul Schmidt.
Recognized by Law360 as a “Trials MVP” and twice by The American Lawyer as its “Litigator of the Week,” Ben is a first-chair trial lawyer and trusted client counselor who represents companies, executives, and entrepreneurs in their most important disputes. With a practice that spans industries, Ben specializes in distilling complex disputes into simple messages that persuade judges, juries, arbitrators, and mediators. He has applied this approach with great success across a range of litigation, including major contract disputes, whistleblower and other "fraud" cases, and defense of state and federal false claims and consumer protection cases.
