David Luttinger Admitted to American College of Coverage Counsel

NEW YORK—David Luttinger has been admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel, the preeminent association of attorneys who represent the interests of insurers and policyholders in disputes arising out of insurance policies.

The ACCC, established in 2012, is an invitation-only organization of senior lawyers who have devoted most of their practice to insurance disputes for 15 years or more. The ACCC’s Fellows include many of the most prominent members of the insurance-law bars of the United States and Canada, as well as Honorary Fellows from academia and the judiciary.

A partner in Covington’s New York office, David prosecutes high-stakes matters against insurance companies, including extensive trial work in judicial and arbitral forums across the country and internationally. In addition to representing policyholders in contested insurance claims, he also advises policyholders in placing and tailoring insurance coverages for unique risks, transferring risk in contracts and transactions, including through the purchase of in transaction risk insurance products such as representation and warranty (warranty and indemnity) policies.

David joins Covington lawyers John Buchanan, Suzan Charlton, Wendy Feng, Marialuisa Gallozzi, David Goodwin, Christine Haskett, and Seth Tucker as Fellows of the ACCC.
