Another Jam-Packed Edition of Litigator of the Week Runners-Up and Shout Outs

Covington's Will Phillips, Mark Gimbel, and Robert Newman received an AmLaw Litigation Daily "Shout Out," for "fending off an ERISA class action brought against Northrop Grumman on behalf of about 2,100 participants in a pension plan established by TRW, a company Northrop acquired. After a four-day bench trial in January, U.S. District Judge Jesus Bernal in Riverside, California, last week found that Northup Grumman didn’t deny any benefit due under the applicable plan and hadn’t violated ERISA’s anti-cutback provision."

The trial team also included Bill O’Neill, and Nick Pastan.
