WASHINGTON—Covington advised Mutual Bancorp, the mutual holding company for The Cape Cod Five Cent Savings Bank (Cape Code 5) and Fidelity Cooperative Bank (Fidelity Bank), in its acquisition of Bluestone Bank. The combined organization will have $8.4 billion in assets, making it Massachusetts’s largest mutual holding company.
Bluestone Bank adds 11 banking offices and one loan production office across southeastern Massachusetts to the Mutual Bancorp network.

Bluestone Bank is a community bank headquartered in Raynham, Massachusetts. Bluestone has assets of approximately $1.6 billion and serves customers across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.
