Samantha Kirby, co-chair of the Financial Services Group, advises financial institutions, fintech companies, and other financial services firms on corporate governance, SEC reporting, capital markets, and M&A transactions. Her practice focuses on strategic matters for regulated entities, including mutual to stock conversions, de novo bank chartering, holding company formations, and bank and fintech transactions requiring federal and state regulatory approvals.
She regularly represents clients before key federal and state banking regulators, including the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and the Massachusetts Division of Banks, as well as numerous other state regulatory agencies.
Samantha is a frequent speaker on corporate governance, strategic planning, and regulatory developments affecting financial institutions. She regularly presents to industry and professional organizations, including the American Bankers Association and numerous state bankers associations.
