LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK—Variety has named Mike Hill, Adrian Perry, and Robyn Polashuk to its 2025 Dealmakers Impact Report, which recognizes the top dealmakers in the entertainment business.
Mike is based in Covington’s New York office and advises sports leagues, conferences, and teams, as well as media and technology companies, in connection with a broad array of commercial and corporate transactions. He has extensive experience with complex television and video licensing and distribution agreements across broadcast, cable and streaming, with a particular focus on sports media rights agreements. This is his third consecutive year being named to Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report.
Adrian is an entertainment and tech transactions lawyer in Covington’s New York office and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Entertainment and Media Industry and Music Industry practice groups. He is also part of the firm's Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things initiatives, advising on deals involving AI-powered and internet-connected products. He is helping to shape the future of how content is created and consumed, and is an authority on digital content distribution issues, and on data collection and licensing, with a focus on the music, sports, TV, and film industries. A musician who has toured internationally and licensed his original music for film and television, Adrian brings significant experience in the entertainment industry to his legal practice. Based in Covington’s Los Angeles office, Robyn serves as co-chair of the firm's Entertainment and Media Industry Group. She provides strategic and transactional counsel to leading studios, television networks, and media technology companies around the world. Her practice focuses on the evolution of video consumption and the distribution of programming across traditional and digital platforms. This is her third consecutive year being named to Variety’s Dealmakers Impact Report.
