LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Ali Mojibi and Neema Sahni to its ”Minority Leaders of Influence: Attorneys” list, a recognition of leading minority Los Angeles-based lawyers.
Mr. Mojibi is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office. He serves as trial counsel for Fortune 500 and leading emerging companies, with a focus on patent, trade secret, and commercial disputes in which he leverages his background in electrical engineering, medical sciences, and technical sales. Mr. Mojibi also helps clients manage critical IP risks, for example, relating to the hiring of executives and scientists or navigating licensing negotiations that threaten mission-critical applications.
Ms. Sahni is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office, co-chair of the firm's Music Industry Initiative, and vice-chair of the Sports Industry Group. Through her work at the firm, and her prior experience in-house, she has developed a sophisticated understanding of the legal issues facing clients in the sports, media, and entertainment industries. Ms. Sahni maintains an extensive counseling and advisory practice, assisting sports teams and leagues, television networks, and film studios assess and mitigate their litigation risk in the context of high-stakes business transactions.
