Covington Advises Jefferies in $830 Million Deal

NEW YORK—Covington is advising Jefferies as financial advisor to CNL Lifestyles Properties in connection with the sale of 34 ski and attraction assets to EPR Properties and Ski Resorts Holdings for approximately $830 million in cash and shares of EPR common stock.

CNL is a REIT focused on investing in lifestyle activities and whose portfolio includes ski and mountain lifestyle and attractions properties. EPR is owned by funds affiliated with Och-Ziff Real Estate.

The Covington team consists of partner Jack Bodner, associate Allison Schiffman, and law clerk Ian Murray.
