BOSTON—Samantha Kirby has joined Covington as a partner in its Boston office and a co-chair of its Financial Services Practice.
Samantha is a strategic adviser to financial institutions, fintechs, other financial services companies, and their boards of directors on M&A and capital markets transactions, corporate governance, SEC reporting, bank chartering, and bank regulatory compliance.
“Samantha is a distinguished practitioner in the financial services space, known for her expert deal execution, thoughtful insight, and keen ability to align her legal advice with clients’ strategic objectives,” said Randy Benjenk, co-chair of Covington’s Financial Services Practice. “As clients face increasingly sophisticated deal structures, evolving regulatory pressures, and heightened expectations for trustworthy guidance, Samantha’s ability to lead complex transactions and provide practical advice will be invaluable,” Randy said. “We are thrilled to have Samantha join Charlotte May, who is herself highly sought after, in leading our corporate work for financial institutions.”
