Adem Koyuncu and Thomas Heymann Named 2024 Germany "Lawyer of the Year"

FRANKFURT—Dr. Adem Koyuncu has been named as Germany’s "Lawyer of the Year" for “Biotechnology Law” and Thomas Heymann - as "Lawyer of the Year" for "Outsourcing" by Handelsblatt in cooperation with Best Lawyers. In addition, Adem is listed among Germany’s Best Lawyers for "Pharmaceutical Law" and "Health Law" and Thomas is listed among Germany’s Best Lawyers in " IT Law", "Technology Law", "Corporate Law", "M&A", "Private Equity", "Venture Capital", and " Restructuring and Insolvency Law".

Adem Koyuncu is double qualified as a lawyer and medical doctor and is a partner in Covington's Brussels and Frankfurt offices. Adem is a life sciences industry advisor with more than 25 years of professional experience. He is a co-chair of the firm's Food, Drug, and Device Practice Group and has a broad European life sciences practice that cuts across regulatory, compliance, privacy and liability matters.

Thomas Heymann is senior counsel in the Frankfurt office. Thomas focuses his practice on corporate transactions, restructuring, outsourcing, and IT matters. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of outsourcing and has advised both domestic and foreign clients on numerous cross-border projects.
