Wade Ackerman and

Wade is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and advises clients on complex FDA issues that require coordinated legal, regulatory, and public policy strategies. Through his previous positions at the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee and FDA's Office of Chief Counsel, Wade provides unique insights to companies and trade associations regarding the evolving FDA regulatory landscape. He also serves as one of the leaders of Covington’s multidisciplinary Digital Health Initiative, which brings together the firm’s resources to address issues relating to the development and marketing of digital health technologies.
Amy is a partner in Covington’s San Francisco office and advises both pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies regarding biologics, pharmaceuticals, and devices, including in the digital health space. She works on all types of life sciences transactions, including major collaborations, licensing arrangements, clinical trial agreements, supply and distribution agreements, product development funding deals, and joint ventures and a variety of commercial agreements.
