Allison Schiffman was profiled in Law360 regarding her new role as Covington's New York office managing partner. In the interview, Allison expresses her goal of making sure the “really strong firm culture is extremely present in the New York office and that all individuals in the New York office get the benefit of that culture and also really strong relationships within the office.”
"When the management committee reached out asking me to take on this role, it was a very simple 'yes' that I didn't even have to consider," she said. "I was just thrilled for the opportunity."
"Since I joined Covington in 2014, I've always been very interested in how to make sure that our really strong firm culture is extremely present in the New York office and that all individuals in the New York office get the benefit of that culture and also really strong relationships within the office," Allison told Law360. "Since I made partner in 2020, I've had, also, the opportunity to focus more on business development in the office, as well, and how to showcase the really strong practices of the New York office, and all that Covington globally can do for clients in and around the New York area."
"Watching and taking part in the genuine support of our colleagues of one another throughout the pandemic shutdowns, return to work and all of that time in between has just been very humbling and great to see," she said.
