Judges and lawyers reveal litigation tips for less patent popular courts

In Managing IP, Gary Rubman offered litigation tips and advice to lawyers tasked with educating judges in patent cases in less patent-popular courts. Mr. Rubman says lawyers might have to take more time to go over certain technical issues with less experienced judges. He adds, “Sometimes you have to more fully explain concepts that might be better understood by judges who have a full docket of patent cases, and you have to be prepared to answer questions about unique issues in patent cases.”
