WASHINGTON—The American Lawyer has once again named Covington among the top ten firms on the 2026 “A-List.” The ranking recognizes firms based on a combination of factors, both financial and cultural: revenue per lawyer, pro bono commitment, associate satisfaction, racial diversity, and gender diversity (the percentage of equity partners who are women).
This is Covington’s eleventh consecutive year on the “A-List,” and the firm has appeared on the list 21 times since it was first introduced in 2003.
“We are proud to be named to The American Lawyer’s A-List for the eleventh consecutive year,” said Doug Gibson, Covington’s Chair. “This sustained recognition reflects the strength of our people and the enduring values that shape our firm: excellence in serving our clients, genuine collaboration, an inclusive culture, and a deep commitment to public service.”
