Covington Boosts Insurance Litigation Practice with London Hire

LONDON—Sonia Campbell has joined Covington’s London office as a partner in the firm's global insurance recovery practice. Sonia will lead the firm's policyholder disputes practice in London.
Ranked in Band 1 by Chambers and among the leading policyholder lawyers in the UK, Sonia specialises in representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes. She has been described by clients as “very knowledgeable, responsive and an excellent solicitor,” who is “amazingly dedicated to her clients,” “particularly adept at handling complex D&O claims,” and possesses “notable strength in acting for clients in the life sciences industry.” Sonia has expertise in representing policyholders in relation to disputes arising across many lines of insurance including construction, directors’ and officers’ liability (D&O), warranty and indemnity (W&I), property damage and business interruption (PDBI), Bermuda Form, Bankers' Blanket Bond (BBB), employment practices liability, fidelity/crime, political and war risks and professional indemnity policies. She also advises on related global risk management and renewal issues.
