WASHINGTON—Covington advised Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC – Masdar in connection with its acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Terra-Gen Power Holdings II, LLC, one of the largest independent renewable energy producers in the United States, from Energy Capital Partners. 

Masdar is one of the world's fastest-growing renewable energy companies and a global clean energy pioneer. The transaction further cements Masdar's position in the U.S. clean energy market.

The Covington team that advised Masdar on the transaction was led by Jonathan Wakely, Mark Plotkin, Jacob Crump, and Corinne Cook.
