WASHINGTON—The American Lawyer has shortlisted Catherine Dargan as a finalist for “Corporate Attorney of the Year” in the “Private Equity and M&A” category.

Catherine is global chair of Covington's Corporate Practice. For over 25 years, she has led a wide range of high-profile companies on their important strategic transactions and has become a trusted advisor in the boardroom.

She focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, including public and private, and strategic partnering arrangements from sales of emerging venture-backed companies to multi-billion dollar acquisitions, and corporate governance.

The American Lawyer’s Industry Awards recognizes outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals, law firms, and legal departments across various practice areas and specialties. Finalists will be honored and winners announced on November 13, 2024.
