Covington Advises on aTyr Pharma's $50M Public Offering of Common Stock

NEW YORK—Covington represented the underwriters in aTyr Pharma Inc.'s $50 million pricing of public offering of common stock.

aTyr, a biotherapeutics company engaged in the discovery and development of first-in-class medicines from its proprietary tRNA synthetase platform, announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 22,225,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $2.25 per share for gross proceeds of approximately $50 million. aTyr has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,333,750 shares of common stock to be sold in the offering on the same terms and conditions. All of the shares in the offering were sold by aTyr Pharma, Inc.
