April 15, 2020
WASHINGTON—Cybersecurity Docket has named David Fagan and Ashden Fein to its “Incident Response 30” for 2020. The list features “30 of the best data breach response lawyers in the business.”
Mr. Fagan co-chairs the firm’s Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice. He has counseled companies on responding to some of the most sophisticated documented cyber-based attacks on their networks and information, including the largest documented infrastructure attacks, as well as data security incidents involving millions of affected consumers. Additionally, he has counseled boards of directors of Fortune 500 companies on cyber risks and has led investigations into cyber attacks.
Mr. Fein advises clients on cybersecurity and national security matters, including crisis management and incident response, risk management and governance, government and internal investigations, and regulatory compliance. He counsels clients on preparing for and responding to cyber-based attacks, assessing security controls and practices for the protection of data and systems, developing and implementing cybersecurity risk management and governance programs, and complying with federal and state regulatory requirements.
The “Incident Response 30” for 2020 announcement follows the firm’s recent selection to BTI Consulting's "CyberSavvy 16," a list of the top law firms that general counsel and other high-ranking decision-makers have identified as the first to contact during a cyberattack or other data privacy crisis.
