Litigator of the Week Shout-Out: Covington Scores PTAB Wins for Cirrus Logic and GlobalFoundries

A Covington team led by Scott Weidenfeller and Anupam Sharma received a Litigator of the Week shout-out in AmLaw Litigation Daily for representing semiconductor companies Cirrus Logic and GlobalFoundries in seven inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. The cases involved six patents asserted by non-practicing entity Greenthread. In a recent court filing in parallel district court litigation, the parties indicated that the PTAB had invalidated every challenged claim of the Greenthread patents. The Covington team also included Hyun Byun, and Peter Chen.
