Anupam Sharma is a partner in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group and is based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office.

Mr. Sharma has worked on a variety of Intellectual Property litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on patent and trade secret cases.  He has litigated in federal district courts nation-wide and in the U.S. International Trade Commission.

  • Represented Texas Instruments in a multi-party Investigation concerning 3D graphics processors and memory controllers. Computing or Graphics Systems (USITC Inv. No. 337-TA-984).
  • Represented Texas Instruments in a patent infringement action involving physical layer of IEEE 802.11 standard. CSIRO v. Texas Instruments Incorporated, 6:12-CV-00578 (E.D. Tex.).

  • Represented Altera Corporation in a patent infringement action involving FPGA chips. Cradle IP, LLC v. Altera Corporation (D. Del.).
  • Represented Silego Technology in a patent infringement action involving design of programmable mixed-signal arrays. Cypress Semiconductor Corporation v. Silego Technology, Inc., 3:13-CV-04412 (N.D. Cal.).
  • Represented Xilinx in a patent infringement action involving chemical mechanical polishing (CMP). Semcon Tech, LLC v. Xilinx, Inc., 12-CV-691 (D. Del.).
  • Represented Texas Instruments in a patent infringement action involving systems-on-a-chip. Won summary judgment of non-infringement on the majority of claims and a stipulation of noninfringement under the court’s claim construction for the remaining claims.   • Represented Hewlett-Packard in this patent infringement case concerning computer blade servers. Acqis LLC v. Appro International, Inc. et al., 6:09-CV-148 (E.D. Tex.).
  • Represented Hewlett-Packard in this patent infringement case involving modular computer systems. Lochner Technologies LLC v. Dell Inc., et al. 2:09-CV-177 (E.D. Tex.).
