A Special "Long Table" Edition of The Point: Follow the Money 2017

Timothy Stratford participated in a discussion hosted by CGTN’s “The Point” on the future of China’s international economic role. Commenting on President Trump’s trade agenda which calls for freer and fairer trade, Stratford says, “I think ideally you have to have both of them. And you can only have a sustainable relationship if you have both of them.” He adds, “I think there’s a pretty broad consensus now [in the U.S.] that the trade relationship with China has not been as fair as it could be and that the U.S. has suffered from that.”
