From 14 December 2027, the EU Forced Labour Regulation (‘FLR’) will introduce a broad ban on placing or making available on the EU market, or exporting from the EU, any product made, in whole or in part, with forced labour. From this date, when authorities make a formal finding of forced labour, any products that are already on the EU market will need to be withdrawn and disposed of.
