Please join us for a webinar on The New EU Pharmaceutical Legislation: What Applies When and How to Prepare.
After more than three years of negotiations, the EU’s new pharmaceutical legislation is approaching final adoption. While most provisions will apply 24 months after entry into force, certain requirements will become applicable earlier, including those relating to availability and security of supply of medicinal products. Transitional provisions will also determine when and how the new rules apply to products already authorised, applications in progress and products still in development.
This webinar will provide a practical roadmap from entry into force to full application of the new legislation. We will focus in particular on the requirements that will become relevant first, the key transitional provisions, and the implications for regulatory and business planning during the transition.
We will also consider practical steps companies can take now to prepare for the new framework, place the reform in the context of related EU initiatives, including the Critical Medicines Act and the European Biotech Act, and look ahead to the implementing measures and guidance that will further shape how the new rules operate in practice.
We will return to specific aspects of the reform in a series of more detailed webinars in early 2027.
