White Collar and Fraud Specialist Joins Covington’s European Practice

LONDON—Ian Hargreaves has joined Covington as a partner in the firm’s European Dispute Resolution practice resident in London. Mr. Hargreaves’ arrival follows that of litigation partners Craig Pollack, Greg Lascelles, Elaine Whiteford, and Louise Freeman over the past six months.
Mr. Hargreaves advises on major European white collar and related civil and regulatory issues, including cases involving or alleging civil and criminal fraud, asset tracing and recovery, money laundering, criminal tax matters, bribery and corruption, sanctions, and financial regulatory compliance. His clients include financial institutions, corporate enterprises, and high-net worth individuals. He has acted for large pharma companies, hotel chains, banks and other businesses in the financial services sector, supermarkets and retail companies, drinks manufacturers, and companies operating in the mining and oil and gas sectors. In addition, Mr. Hargreaves deals with commercial disputes, cyber security, and corporate governance issues. He is recognised by Legal 500 UK and Chambers UK.
