    Devony Schmidt advises some of the most innovative companies on their domestic and cross-border public and private M&A transactions in the technology and life sciences industries. Her experience includes assisting in advising on equity investments, including corporate venture capital programs, assisting with complex public and private corporate acquisitions and asset purchases and evaluating risks around the most pressing issues facing technology and AI-driven companies in Silicon Valley today.

    During her law degree, she drafted amicus briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court on topics related to cybersecurity and data protection, highlighting the effects of case outcomes on major multinational corporations. Devony is a contributing author to “Cybersecurity and Human Rights: Understanding the Connection," published in Human Rights Responsibilities in the Digital Age: States, Companies and Individuals.
