Emile J. Katz

Emile J. Katz is an associate in the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Practice Group.

Before joining the firm, he clerked for Judge Kevin C. Newsom of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and then for Judge Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Emile received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as an associate editor on the California Law Review and as a senior articles editor on the Berkeley Journal of International Law. Prior to law school, Emile served as a paratrooper in the Israel Defense Forces.
