Alison DiCiurcio

Alison DiCiurcio is an associate in the firm’s Washington, DC office. She represents clients in the healthcare industry in complex civil litigation and government investigations. She has particular expertise defending companies against allegations of fraud and violation of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Controlled Substances Act.

Alison helps clients navigate various stages of disputes, including pre-litigation government inquiries, motions practice, fact discovery, expert discovery, and trial. Her diligent work has resulted in favorable outcomes for her clients, ranging from a DOJ decision not to intervene in a qui tam action, to exclusion of an adversary’s experts and a successful verdict at trial.

Alison received an A.B. in economics from Harvard University, where she wrote an honors thesis on Medicaid reimbursement rates. She received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She has a longstanding interest in health policy, particularly related to access to healthcare.
