Matthew Benov is special counsel in the Washington office and his practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and related civil proceedings.  Mr. Benov’s experience includes defending pharmaceutical and medical device companies in matters involving alleged violations of the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, and the Food Drug and Cosmetic Act.  Mr. Benov also has substantial experience representing companies and executives in cross-jurisdictional investigations involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (“FCPA”), US export controls (ITAR, EAR and economic sanctions) and criminal antitrust violations.
