Caterina Ikeda Benson

Caterina Benson is a senior corporate paralegal in Covington's Palo Alto office with over 17 years of experience in the field of emerging companies across industries. She has worked in major law firms in Silicon Valley, collaborating closely with both attorneys and clients on private company formations, stock administration, preferred stock and convertible note financings, M&As, and IPOs. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1988 and her designation as a Certified Equity Professional from Santa Clara University in 2004. She continues to volunteer her time with the Certified Equity Professional Institute and other equity plan management software companies, concentrating on the development and implementation of improved equity administration tools for private companies.
