BOSTON—Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has named Amanda Austin, a partner in Covington’s Boston office, as a 2026 “Go To Lawyer in Life Sciences.” This special feature recognizes leading Massachusetts attorneys who are widely respected in their fields, have demonstrated records of success, and are known for delivering creative, strategic solutions for clients. For more than 20 years, Amanda has advised life sciences companies on complex transactions involving many of the industry’s most innovative and emerging technologies. Her practice spans the full spectrum of life sciences transactions, including licensing, collaboration, co-development and co-commercialization agreements, research and development partnerships, strategic alliances, joint ventures, co-promotion arrangements, and manufacturing and distribution agreements. She also counsels clients on intellectual property issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
