Covington Ranked Second in The American Lawyer’s 2026 Pro Bono Scorecard

WASHINGTON—The American Lawyer has ranked Covington second in its annual Pro Bono Scorecard, which ranks Am Law 200 firms by the depth and breadth of pro bono engagement by U.S.-based lawyers. Covington was also ranked fifth in The American Lawyer’s 2026 Pro Bono International Report.

“The core pillars of the firm’s pro bono work have remained consistent and include civil legal matters, criminal defense and reform, international human rights work and non-profit advisory work,” said David Zionts, co-chair of the firm’s public service committee.

“Nothing seems to slow the demand for pro bono resources,” stated Kelly Voss, the firm’s pro bono counsel.
