PALO ALTO—Vinita Kailasanath has joined Covington as a partner in the firm’s Life Sciences Transactions Practice Group and will be based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.
Vinita represents medtech and biotechnology companies, as well as multinational pharmaceutical companies, on complex licensing and collaboration deals, and advises on due diligence in connection with life sciences and technology M&A matters. Her practice focuses on strategic intellectual property and data-driven transactions and the development, commercialization, sourcing, and protection of new products and technologies, principally in the medtech and digital health industries.
