Isaac Chaput Named to Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40

SAN FRANCISCO —The Daily Journal has named Isaac Chaput to its 2025 Top 40 Under 40 list, a recognition of the top lawyers under the age of 40 in California.

A partner in Covington’s San Francisco office, Isaac has built a practice centered on complex class actions and commercial litigation, handling matters involving privacy, product liability, trademark, trade secret, antitrust, and breach of contract across a range of industries, with a particular focus on technology and life sciences. They maintain a robust pro bono practice and serve as co-chair of Covington’s CovPride employee resource group. They are also deeply involved in the firm’s efforts to recruit and mentor diverse attorneys.

The Daily Journal’s profile highlights Isaac’s role as co-lead counsel for Microsoft in a landmark privacy class action involving generative AI, which was among the first to challenge the use of publicly acquired data in AI model training.
