WASHINGTON—India Business Law Journal has named Covington to the annual Key Players list that aims to highlight top foreign law firms in India.
The editorial team highlighted a number of the firm’s recent projects, such as advising General Atomics Aeronautical Systems on a “wet lease” arrangement with India’s Ministry of Defence to operate pre-production versions of GA’s high-altitude long-endurance remotely piloted aircraft system, and representing Indian-headquartered global technology company HCL Technologies and two of its subsidiaries on U.S. government contracts.
Earlier this year, India Business Law Journal named Ralph Voltmer to its International A list 2025. Based on the collective views of private practice lawyers in India and in-house counsel around the world, the list aims to profile the most recommended India-focused lawyers at international law firms.
Chair of Covington’s India Practice, Ralph advises both U.S. and foreign clients in cross-border transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and debt and equity financings.
