Chris Eppich Named LA Business Journal's Leader of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys

LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Chris Eppich to its 2023 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys list, a recognition honoring the “best litigators and trial attorneys” in Los Angeles.

Chris is a partner in Covington’s Los Angeles office and an experienced litigator representing clients through complex products liability and patent disputes before U.S. District courts, state courts, the Patent Trial & Appeal Board, and the U.S. International Trade Commission. The Los Angeles Business Journal noted Chris’ role in “securing a full defense verdict for McKesson in a first-of-its-kind opioid jury trial under Georgia’s “Drug Dealer Liability Act,” and, in a separate three month federal Bellwether trial, obtaining “a ruling that the plaintiffs failed to prove that the distributors had faulty controls against the diversion of opioids for illicit use and did not cause the opioid crisis.”
