Washington Business Journal Recognizes Catherine Dargan Among Leading Diverse Business Leaders

WASHINGTON—The Washington Business Journal recognized Covington’s Catherine Dargan at its “Diversity in Business Awards,”  which “celebrate diversity and inclusion in the workforce and honors inspiring business leaders of color in Greater Washington.”

Catherine leads the firm’s Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practices and has advised numerous companies on their most important strategic transactions for more than 25 years.

Her practice focuses on a range of transactions, including public and private M&A, as well as partnering arrangements, all ranging from sales of emerging venture-backed companies to multi-billion dollar acquisitions by leading public companies. Catherine structures and negotiates both domestic and cross-border transactions and regularly represents clients in numerous industries. She also advises corporate boards, independent directors, and special committees on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance.
