SAN FRANCISCO—The Daily Journal has named Lindsey Tonsager to its 2019 “Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers,” recognizing the top artificial intelligence lawyers in California.
Ms. Tonsager co-chairs the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Initiative, which is a cross-functional practice advising companies developing or utilizing AI technologies. She is advising clients in the tech, entertainment, and digital health industries on data privacy risks, including the application of biometric privacy laws, children’s privacy laws, consumer notice and choice requirements, unfairness and deception risks for biased or unrepresentative datasets, and securing rights to use personal data for AI applications. The Daily Journal noted her role in “assisting AI providers on the privacy implications of collecting and using large sets of consumer data - such as text, voice, and biometric information - to develop train and improve their AI solutions.”
