FRANKFURT—Robert Henrici has joined Covington’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice as a partner in Frankfurt.
Mr. Henrici’s practice focuses on white collar and regulatory investigations, including investigations related to alleged market manipulation, anti-corruption and sanctions violations, and tax evasion. He complements his white collar work with an active commercial litigation and arbitration practice, which encompasses capital markets, corporate, and post-M&A disputes. He represents companies in a wide range of sectors, including financial services, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing.
“Cross-border white collar and investigations work in Germany has grown significantly in the last several years,” said Mythili Raman, co-chair of Covington’s White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice. “Robert is an experienced and noted white collar practitioner who has advised international banks and other companies on critical issues that have been drivers of global white collar work in recent years, and he will significantly enhance our offering in Europe.”
“Many financial institutions are currently boosting their presence in Frankfurt,” added Henning Bloss, the Managing Partner of Covington’s Frankfurt office. “This will create significant opportunity for Covington in Germany, and Robert’s expertise will prove invaluable to our German and multinational clients.”
“Covington has set itself apart as one of a handful of firms truly capable of handling the most complex white collar matters, particularly those with international dimensions or heavily based on U.S. law and enforcement,” said Mr. Henrici. “I was particularly drawn to Covington’s collaborative culture and look forward to working closely with colleagues across the firm, and particularly in Frankfurt to help expand the firm’s practice in Germany.”
Mr. Henrici is a graduate of the University of Munich and received an LL.M from the University of Texas School of Law.
