State Farm's Calif. License At Stake Over LA Fire Response

Christine Haskett's commentary was included in a Law360 article about a California Department of Insurance enforcement action against State Farm General Insurance Co. over its handling of Los Angeles fire claims, which found violations in 52% of the 220 property insurance claims it reviewed. Christine noted that the CDI's actions are significant because they serve as a warning to any number of insurers in the homeowners coverage space, adding that the department could have targeted other carriers too.
