Biotechs Rev Up to Go Public, Spurring Hope for the Sector

Matt Gehl’s commentary was featured in a Law360 article about the status of the biotech IPO market.

According to Matt, “despite all the uncertainties, markets have grown more resilient.”

“Whether the markets react positively or negatively to something in their geopolitical climate, we’ve started to see them snap back a little bit more quickly,” Matt said.

“There’s always a chance that another big event may take the industry by surprise and close the IPO window,” but Matt said that conservatively, he expects at least 30 biotechs to go public this year, after what will hopefully be a busy summer.
