Top UK Mobile Operators Dodge Standalone Antitrust Claim

Louise Freeman’s commentary, as Counsel to Deutsche Telekom, was included in an article covering a recent decision by a UK court to dismiss claims from a defunct mobile retailer that Vodafone, O2, and EE  – a joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and Orange – illegally colluded to force it into insolvency.

Louise said Deutsche Telecom had invited Phones 4U to withdraw its claim against the company, “but it chose to take the claim to a lengthy trial, with over 40 factual witnesses.”
