Global Competition Review quoted Ryan Quillian in an article announcing his Covington arrival, where he will be joining the firm’s antitrust practice in Washington, DC.
“It's such a great culture here and it goes beyond the antitrust group,” Ryan said. “Everybody I've met seems to really enjoy it here.” He expressed he was drawn in by the chance to work with Covington’s top talent, including the co-chairs of its antitrust practice: Tom Barnett, Anne Lee, and Johan Ysewyn.
When asked to comment on Ryan’s departure, Commissioner Noah Phillips offered his praise, “Ryan is an incredibly talented antitrust lawyer as well as a very nice guy. His leaving is a loss to the FTC and I wish him well in his future endeavors.”
Tom Barnett said Covington expects Ryan will play a key role in the long-term growth of its antitrust practice.
