The road ahead: GBRR's predictions for 2022

Eric Mogilnicki commented in Global Banking Regulation Review about the CFPB’s policy direction for 2022. He states that “projects heightened coordination among agencies, fostered by both new [CFPB director] Chopra’s historic links to the Federal Trade Commission and partly from the Department of Justice’s stated multi-agency approach to regulating redlining practices.”

Eric called Chopra an, “opinion leader’ among financial regulators. He’s made no secret that he wants to move the law in a progressive direction.”
