The Hill has named Covington’s
Holly Fechner and
Bill Wichterman to its annual “Top Lobbyists” list. The list recognizes the “key players who the nation’s biggest companies, advocacy groups, labor unions and trade associations turn to when they want their voices heard in the nation’s capital.” They “stand out for delivering results for their clients in the halls of Congress and the administration.”
Named to the list for the ninth consecutive year, Holly co-chairs Covington’s Technology Industry Group and previously served as Policy Director to former Senator Edward Kennedy, as well as Chief Labor & Pensions Counsel to the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee. In addition to her wide-ranging public policy practice, she serves as Executive Director of Invent Together.
Bill previously served as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and Deputy Director of Public Liaison at the White House, Policy Advisor to former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, and Chief of Staff to former Representatives Joe Pitts and Bill Baker. He has been active in presidential campaigns and conservative politics. This is the seventh consecutive year in which he has been named to
The Hill’s list.
