As US Reopens, Businesses Want Protections From Lawsuits

Lindsay Burke spoke with Agence France-Presse about the lawsuits U.S. businesses may face from employees who contract COVID-19 while at work. Ms. Burke says companies should follow government guidelines to protect themselves legally as they bring employees back into the workplace. “We are generally advising employers to resume on-site operations in a voluntary and phased approach with new protocols for health and hygiene,” she adds.
